Growing Food in a City

“In Cuba, over 300,000 urban farms and gardens produce about 50 percent of the island’s fresh produce supply”…

People are growing fresh foods at home in cities all over the world. On a balcony or terrace, a  building rooftop, porch, patio, or deck, anyplace they can set up some containers. You don't need a lot of space to grow fresh, healthy food.

This video was originally on Chai with Lakshmi an online talk show hosted by Lakshmi Rebecca and was produced by Red Bangle Medea based in Bangalore, India.

This video shows how anybody can grow some of their food at home even on a city apartment terrace.
